So, they show up. The box says size 13. The size on the shoe itself says size 13. The actual size is an 11.
Except for being the wrong size. They seem to be worth the money.
I gave them away to someone who needed them.

i bought this a couple of weeks ago from amazon, i baught it mad cheap, but it turned to be a crap.... it does not fit my feet even that i gave them my size but the size of this shoes are completely different,... chinese crap... sucks... dont wist ur money.... buy something that that u can try it before paying for it..... if u have to much money, and dont know how to spend... then send it to me or give it to chairty...lolz

They must have changed something in the last year and a half, including the sole's center triangle color is not different as in the pictures here. These are very good hikers in general, and for their price. I don't know what would happen if you use them tens of hours a week over rough terrain because I'll never hike for a sport. But to tromp through paths in the woods, snow and rough pastures, (15-20 uses) over a month, they're still fine with no sign of unusual wear. They are also sold on my local AF base at, unusually, a higher price. They are after all, lower priced boots, but feel way more protective and durable than sneakers imho. I'm all about tennies unless stronger foot wear is warranted for a task. Carlsbad is very comfortable in my usual size and the box says 'New comfort sock liner with extra cushioning!', so things must have been improved since 2008.

first off, these shoes look good --- very professional. nice with both pants and skirts. the height is nice, not too tall to walk around all day or thru airports. i wore them until i was 7 months pregnant and consistently found them as comfortable as flats. the only issue is that after about 4 months of use the bottom part of the heel came off. considering the price, i didn't find it worth it to take to a cobbler and get repaired. i was disappointed.

I purchased three pairs of these pumps because of the fit and the fact that they are comfortable. The height of the heel is good for walking around without squishing your toes. The shoes work well to enhance any outfit, pants or skirt. However, the major flaw of them relate to how they are made. The shoe is glued to the sole and in some cases the material look as if they are ready to be pull away from the sole of the shoe.
